According to the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, during the May Day holiday, 953 monitored units in Hunan Province received a total of 14.5752 million tourists, a year-on-year increase of 209.55%, and achieved a revenue of 1.928 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 256.01%.
339 monitored tourist attractions received a total of 13.3154 million tourists, up 228.47% year on year, and registered a revenue of 1.755 billion yuan, rising 287.75% year on year, of which 11 5A-level scenic areas received 3.3111 million tourists, a year-on-year increase of 300.1%, and achieved a revenue of 831 million yuan, a year-on-year growth of 382.3%.
